There are two main categories of positions which we are recruiting for. Please click on the titles to see the full roles, responsibilities, and time commitment required for each position.
Executive Positions:
The following roles make up the core executive team of the CMESA. These members work with the Board of Directors in order to analyze, plan, and coordinate CMESA initiatives. Executive members work with the appropriate members of the functional “Management” team in order to execute plans.

Management Roles:
The following roles can be looked as experts in their specific function (i.e. marketing, website management, etc.). These roles primarily involve hands-on learning and practice. Managers work with a representative from the Executive team, who will help them stay on CMESA strategy.

- Get frequent updates from Charitable Event Managers to make sure CMESA is up to date with all events

Director of Marketing & Brand Management
Responsibilities:- Gatekeeper of the CMESA brand
- Analyze, plan, and execute the CMESA marketing strategy
- Ensure all touch points with students, employers, and faculty are on brand
- Operate merchandise sales
- Produce creative, on-brand, advertising for CMESA events and initiatives
- Leadership skills
- Ability to manage large groups as well as individuals

- Run weekly CMESA meetings, using Robert’s Rules

Director of Marketing & Brand Management
Responsibilities:- The gatekeeper of marketing insights for the CMESA
- Build a deep understanding of commerce students and their motivations
- Oversee surveys and evaluations of commerce students
- Attend weekly Marketing Pillar meetings
- Knowledge of research methods and data collection
- Passion for the understanding of consumer behavior

Responsibilities:- Maintain website and all digital marketing material
- Create advertising material for CMESA events and initiates
- Manage the “Guelph CMESA” Facebook Account as well as other digital assets

Director of Marketing & Brand Management
Responsibilities:- Manage and create the CMESA street team
- Co-ordinate Class Room talks

- Previous experiential marketing experience would be an asset
