1. Hidden bathroom in MINS building.

What it’s good for?: Taking care of personal bathroom business.
Location: Underneath the main staircase you’ll find two doors. The one to the right is a single bathroom for all of those who are a tad poo shy.

2. Hidden piano room in the UC

What it’s good for?: If you’re a piano man and want to show your lady a bit of your sensitive side; then look no further. Bring her to this hidden piano room in the UC and serenade her heart out. She’ll be all over you in no time.
Location: Basement of the UC. Once you go down the stairs take a right and walk as north as you can until you reach the end of the hall way. Go to the right and open a few doors, you’ll find a room with plenty of graffiti and a piano up against the wall.

3. 50 cent pop machine

What it’s good for?: If you’re willing to go in the creepy labyrinth of a basement in Axelrod you can score yourself some cheap drinks. I’ve never been, but I’ve been told that if you go alone, you might soil your huggies before you even make it to the pop machine, because this basement is THAT eerie.
Location: Basement of Axelrod

4. Super cold water fountain

What’s it good for?: This place is great to fill up your canteen bottle in the morning before getting to class as it’s conveniently situated beside the bus loop so all you have to do is fill up and keep on trekking to your class.
Location: There’s two. First being by Thornborough 1200 and the second near the engineering society’s office.

5. Study rooms in the UC

What’s it good for?: If you can’t find yourself a study group area on the 4th floor of the library for the life of you, try checking out the 3rd and 4th floors of the UC. These rooms are often used for meetings during the day but are open and up for grabs in the evening.
Location: 3rd and 4th Floor of the UC on the North side.

6. Hidden study area in the library

What’s it good for?: This is the place to be when you need some peace and quiet. Although it closes at around 4:30, if you’re an early bird and want to get a good cramming session in, look no further. This room holds some very old maps that can not leave the room, which is why there’s an onsite staff member while it’s open, insuring people aren’t sneaking away with the hidden treasure paper. The onsite staff also insures that this place stays as quiet as possible, which is great when you have an exam in two hours and just need to focus.
Location: To get to this collection of maps that may lead you on a crazy adventure rivalling the Goonies, make your way to the basement by using the staircase or the elevator on the south side of the Library (side that’s closest to the UC).
